A garden pot is the most fascinating item to be displayed in any garden. There are different varieties of backyard pots, differing in their shapes and sizes.  These backyard containers are created with unique designs and exquisite colors which catches the eye of the admirer. When the plant pots are placed in the garden, they enhance the scenic beauty of the garden.

The are of different types. The plant vessels are generally made of ceramic, wooden or plastic. Most of them are square-shaped, round-shaped, oval shaped or box-shaped.

These days plastic pots are in great demand. These plastic plant containers are available in the market in outstanding colors and shapes. They can be positioned in the garden to present a novel look. In houses where there are no gardens, these pots can also be placed on the balconies and terrace gardens.

Using a plastic container has its own advantage. It is easy to handle a plastic urn. A plastic plant bottle does not easily break when dropped on the floor. But a plastic pot has many disadvantages too.

It is not strong and can be bent easily. The plant container cannot retain heavy soil and is likely to tear. Moreover, it is better to keep plastic containers indoors because it is sure to get discolored when exposed to excess heat.

When we think of a pollution free environment, the words ‘green plants’ come to our mind.  A barren land with no greenery can be compared to a man without clothes. In the same way when we utter the word ‘garden’, immediately our thoughts get diverted to a garden with lovely splendid varieties of garden pots.
