Container gardening has become a rapidly growing pastime for city dwellers and it’s not difficult to plan a garden for easy and sustainable maintenance. Unfortunately, most people in their enthusiasm for filling their urban spaces with greenery make some common mistakes which results in unnecessary hard work, expenditure and maybe disappointment as to in drooping or unhealthy plants. Planning your container garden before beginning it is the right way to go about it as you can then take various factors peculiar to your apartment in accordance.
Take into account the amount of sunlight which is available in the areas where you want to place the pots. Although, most indoor plants do not need full sunlight, some sunlight is essential for them to grow properly. Choose your plants with care and in accordance with the sunlight or shade available in the space and in keeping with what that particular plant actually needs.
